Overview

This policy explains what happens to information when you use vvstreams.site. The site is a static download and information page for the VVStreams Android app. It has no user accounts, no comments, no contact form and no checkout.

The policy covers this website only. It does not cover the VVStreams app itself, GitHub (where the APK is hosted), or any service you open from a link on this page. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Analytics and Histats

This site loads Histats, a third-party web statistics service, on every page. The Histats site ID used here is 5060228. The script runs for every visitor and is not placed behind a consent banner or a delayed loader.

Histats records page views and visit information. That can include your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you open and the time of the visit. Histats may also set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. The reports are used to understand traffic, see which pages are useful and keep the site working.

Histats is an independent service. Its own privacy policy and retention practices apply to the data it receives. This site does not combine Histats data with any other information and does not use it to identify you by name.

Cookies

Histats may place first-party or third-party cookies, or read identifiers already stored by it, to count visits and distinguish returning browsers. This site does not set login, session, shopping or preference cookies of its own.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking requests to s10.histats.com and sstatic1.histats.com stops the tracker from loading. Blocking cookies may also affect how visits are counted, but it does not affect your ability to read this page or download the app.

Hosting logs

The site is delivered through Cloudflare and GitHub Pages. Those providers may keep standard request logs, including IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, referring page and response status. The logs are used for delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

This site does not receive or store those raw logs itself. Retention and access are controlled by the providers under their own policies.

Advertising

No advertising code, ad slots or ad networks are active on this site. No advertising cookies are set by this page.

If advertising is added later, this policy will be updated before the code is deployed. Where consent is required, a consent mechanism will be added at the same time.

Your choices

You can limit analytics by blocking third-party scripts, blocking the Histats domains, using your browser’s private browsing mode, or clearing cookies after a visit. Because the site has no accounts, there is no profile to sign into or delete.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Most of the information described here is aggregated traffic data held by Histats or by the hosting providers. Requests about that data should be directed to the relevant provider. The site does not currently respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no industry-wide standard for interpreting them.

Children

This page is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through a service linked here, contact the provider of that service.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the site changes, when a new service is added, or when the law requires it. The date at the top of the page shows the last revision. Material changes will be reflected here before the related feature goes live.
